You’ve added your project (Adding your first project), you’ve completed your integration (with GitLab or GitHub), now you’re ready to start improving your own product.
When you add your integration, you’ll get a screen like this:
There are two options for reporting feedback:
We have Browser Extensions available where you can install them locally to your browser and start reporting bugs.
Guest reporting can be enabled by embedding the guest script (Using “Guest Reporting”). This is helpful if you want the world to be able to report visual feedback items into your integrations.
🌐 Browser Extension | 🗣️ Guest Reporting | |
---|---|---|
No browser configuration needed | ❌ Must install extension locally | ✅ Developer embeds a lightweight snippet |
Report from your personal integration account | ✅ All feedback items will be reported under your own personal GitHub or GitLab account | ❌ All feedback will be reported through the GitHub App or the dedicated GitLab account |
No extra code to embed | ✅ You can use Bugflow without embedding any code into your app | ❌ You must embed a javascript snippet that calls cdn.bugflow.io for every visitor |
